Thomas Simeon Woodson is an associate professor in the Department of Technology and Society at Stony Brook University. He investigates the effects of technology on inequality throughout the world and the causes/consequences of inclusive innovation. For the past several years he has studied the effectiveness of scientific funding to have broader impact, and ways to improve diversity in STEM fields.
Currently, Dr. Woodson is on loan to the US National Science Foundation where he is the program officer in the Social, Behavioral, and Economics Science. He manages the Science of Science program. |
